What is Reiki?
In Japanese ‘Rei’ means ‘universal’ and Ki means ‘life force energy’. So Reiki means ‘Universal life force energy’ . Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki involves the transfer of energy between the practitioner and client to restore harmony to the body’s energy and trigger its healing process. Reiki is safe, natural and a non-invasive hands-on therapy, which treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
A reiki session takes approximately 90 minutes, including the debrief at the end of the session. Clients will lie down fully clothed throughout the session.

A Reiki Session takes 60 minutes and costs $70.
Please allow an extra 30 mins to have a debrief at the end of your session.
It is advisable to have 3-4 consecutive sessions within a 3 week period.

Reiki & Mindfulness for Children and Young Adults takes 40 minutes and costs $45
Both Reiki and Meditation can help children and teenagers become calmer and more relaxed. Sometimes all a child needs is a neutral person to understand, accept and listen to them in a non-judgemental way. In a session clients will be given the tools to either calm or protect themselves, enabling them to become happier and more content.
A session will start with a 20 minute meditation followed by a 20 minute Reiki session. It will finish with a chat to discuss further treatments or answer any questions.
It is preferred that parents/caregivers are present during each session so that they can have an understanding of the conversations, the process and help with subsequent follow ups in every day environments.

Mindfulness and Yoga/ Mindfulness Classes for children 9 - 13 years old
